Terminal Features

The Lorenzini Terminal is a concessionary company in accordance with art. 18 of Law 84/94, and namely the owner of a maritime State allotment of areas and wharves/docks within the port for the direct performance of port operations; it is also authorized as per art. 16 to the carrying out of port services. Within the public properties and following the measures connected with the Industrial Plan, Lorenzini Terminal has at its disposal the following areas and structures:

  • A total concession area of more than 120,000 Sq m
  • Annual terminal capacity of 300,000 teus
  • Two 300-metre railway tracks
  • Berth n. 15A, 15B e 15C, total length 550m, maximum draft -12 m
  • A building destined to Border Inspection Post (BIP)
  • A roofing covering a total of 2.000 Sq m
  • 342 Reefer Plugs
  • A platform balance for various goods and containers, with a 80-ton capacity

How to reach the Terminal

The road connection from/to the port of Livorno, and in particular to the Galvani and Bengasi gates located within the Industrial port, is composed by the motorway junction of Stagno (to the North entrance of Livorno) where SS.1 Aurelia, the Genova /Rosignano M.mo (LI) motorway and the dual carriageway Livorno/Pisa/Firenze (FI-PI-LI) merge.
